Herrin) Buried in Peyton Randall Cemetery. Stone has been replaced with new one. !NOTE: John Clark was the husband of Nancy Herrin; this would make John Clark the uncle of John Herrin since William is the son of Shadrack, Nancy is the daughter of Shadrack and John is the son of William. When Rebecah Herrin married Singleton Earp, the bond was signed by John Herrin, and the marriage was consented to by William Herrin, one more fact linking John as William's son. The signature of William Herrin on the marriage consent matched William Herrin's signature on his own marriage bond to Sally Evans. It is history that Shopville, KY was named after a blacksmith shop there (Pulaski County In Retrospect). It is likely that since John Herrin lived in Shopville, that it was named because of his shop, since he is a wheelwright. (or his father, William's, shop). | HERRIN JOHN (I24609)

The first was a triple bypass as was the second. The third was for a pacemaker. He had several good years between the first and his death (approximately 10). With his pacemaker, Dad virtually smothered to death because his heart wouldn't quit beating, but the blood failed to deliver much oxygen. He became worse and worse, being on air on and off until his death. Pastor Myers of the 1st Church of the Nazarene was reading the 23rd Psalm to Dad at the hospital. Although Dad was not conscious, he died in the psalm where the "paths of righteousness" was read. Pastor Enoch Ralph, his best friend, did the eulogy and pastor Myers had the sermon. Dad died in Hendricks County Hospital in Danville, Indiana; was displayed at Wingler-Hayes Funeral Home in Coatesville, Indiana and was buried in Clayton Cemetery at Clayton, Indiana on 18 February 1994. | HERRIN ELSTON (I25483)
