Notes - Sarah, Furman and family moved to California in 1923, along with her sister, Nettie and family. One child was born and died in Oroville, California. Furman purchased a cemetery plot at Sutter City where teh child was buried. Before they returned to Missouri in 1925, Furman gave the burial plot to his father-in-law, John. Walter and Kate Owens are also buried there.
Furman became the sheriff of Stone County, Missouri.
