OLD MOKENA RESIDENT DIES AFTER LONG LIFE:

Mokena, June 21- Mrs. John Schmidt, for 60 years a resident of Mokena, passed away yesterday afternoon at 3:40 at the home of John Frisch, at the age of 80 years. Old age was primarily responsible for the death. Mrs. Schmidt has one brother, J.W. Conrad and a sister in Chicago.

The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 9:30 from St. Mary's Church. Father Shark of Blue Island saying mass. The burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Schmidt's husband died several years ago. There are no children.

Anna married SCHMIDT John Werner on 15 May 1860 in Will Co, IL. John (son of SCHMIDT Heinrich Peter and WERNER Anna Margaretha) was born on 10 May 1823 in Damflos, Trier, Germany; died on 24 Aug 1895 in Will Co, IL; was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mokena, IL. [Group Sheet]
