The State of Alabama St. Clair County. Probate Court in vacation on this 5th day of May A.D. 1856. This day Lewis D. Edwards administrator of the Estate of Aaron Stapp late of said County deceased came into Court and drilled in Court his account or report of the sale of the personal property of said estate as made by him on the 31st of March A.D. 1856. Ordered by the Court that the sum be filed & recorded.

This day Elizabeth Ann Stapp, widow of Aaron Stapp Dec'd. and Guardian of John Thomas-Milly R.M.-Frances Elizabeth-Moses Taylor-Mansel Monroe Stapp the minor children of said Aaron Stapp Dec'd came into Court and filed in Court her report of funds received by her as Guardian aforesaid which is hereby ordered to be filed and recorded.

As to final Settlement. This day came Lewis D. Edwards the administrator of said Estate and filed his statements, accounts, voucher, and evidences for a final settlement of his said administration; and said accounts having been examined by the Court and found apparent commit and bring now reports for such settlement: It is ordered that the matter of said settlement be set for a hearing on the 2nd Monday in September next1858 and that notice of the time and place and nature of such settlement be given by posting such notice three weeks before said day of settlement at the Courthouse and tat three other public places in this county then bring no newspaper published in this County.

It is further ordered that Thomas M. Barker be and his is hereby appointed Guardian ad litem to represent John Thomas Stapp, Frances E. Stapp, Moses Taylor Stapp, and Mansel M. Stapp and to protect their interests in such settlement these being the only minors interested. It is further ordered that said Thomas M. Barker have notice of said Appointment.

The State of Alabama St. Clair County Probate Court for said County Regular Term 2nd Monday and 13th day of September A.D. 1858. Aaron Stapp deceased Estate of decree on final account. This day having been set to hear and determine all matters as to the accounts heretofore filed by Lewis D. Edwards administrator of said Estate for a final settlement of his said administration now comes the said Edwards and moves the Court that his said account may be paper and allowed as the same has been by him filed as aforesaid. And it appeared that due notice of the nature of and of the time set to make such settlement has been given in all resects according to law and strictly in pursuance of the Order of Court in said estate made and entered on the 23rd day of July A.D. 1858 and Thomas M Barker who was heretofore appointed by the Court to aid as guardian ad litem to represent and protect the interest of John Thomas - Milly R.M. - Frances Elizabeth - Moses Taylor & Mansel Monroe Stapp the only minors concerned

And it appearing to the court that after paying all costs and charges now due the officers of Court including the expenses of this final settlement and distribution there remains of the balance of money aforesaid the sum of six hundred and twenty six dollars and forty eight cents to be divided among those entitle and it further appearing that said deceased left him surviving his widow Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Stapp and fine children, John Thomas - Milly R.M. - Frances Elizabeth - Moses Taylor & Mansell Monroe Stapp. It is therefore considered by the court that the said Elizabeth Ann- widow as aforesaid is entitled to one fifth of the aforesaid sum of six hundred and twenty six dollars and forty eight cents which said one fifth of the said sum amounts to one hundred and twenty five dollars, and twenty nine cents. It is therefore adjudged and decreed that the said Elizabeth Ann widow as foresaid has recovery of and from the said Lewis D. Edwards the said sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars and twenty
