    Notes:

    Sarah Jane was under the age of 18, and "Daniel Owens has given his assent to the marriage." Five children were born in Stone county before Martin and Sarah Jane moved their family to Eufaula, OK. Fropm there they moved to El Reno, OK, to be near Sarah Jane's brother. Sarah and Martin separated, and she took the children back to Stone County for a year or so. In 1905 she again moved to Oklahoma and took up land near Binger where she raised her family of six.

    SARAH married CAREY MARTIN V. on 22 May 1887 in at Daniel Owens' place, Stone Co,Mo. by F.M. Cron, Minister. MARTIN was born in Oct 1863 in Stone Co., Mo.. [Group Sheet]

    Elmer farmed until 1926, when he moved into town (Binger) and became manager of the W. W. Hentz mercantile store until his untimely death in 1932. He is buried at Binger. Faye moved her family to Sacramento, CA in 1938 (4 children). She died 13 Sept. 1980 Tahoma, CA, and is buried at Binger, OK.

    ELMER married OWEN ORA FAYE on 17 Jan 1918 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. ORA (daughter of OWEN JOHN MARTIN and PATTERSON MARY JANE) was born on 1 Apr 1900 in Elk City, Kansas; died on 13 Sep 1980 in Tahoma, CA; bd. Binger, Oklahoma. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    Del loved sports and took delight in talking about his close relationship with Johnny Bench (Johnny grew up in Binger). He lived in town, but always had land where he could raise his cattle. He outlived his brothers and sisters and died at the age of 79 and is buried at Binger, OK. Viola at this writing is still living in Binger and has the 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren to keep her busy.
