See Revolutionary War Soldiers and Patriots Buried in Iowa, published for the Iowa Society Daughters of the American Revolution, 1978, pp. 115-118. Another book, The Vaughn Shipwrights of Kensington, by David Gauer, show evidence that this person is NOT the Revolutionary War hero, but rather his son!!!
