- Per Larry Herrin:
!LINEAGE: Edward Herrin had no daughter named Rachael per Edward Herrin Bible
Records (on file; L. R. Herrin). If the Herrin's of Pulaski Co. are examined,
there are only five choices for Rachel's parents: 1) Jesse (too young, b. ca.
1801), 2) Jane (too old and no spouse living), 3) Edward (no child listed in
Bible as such), 4) John (too young and all his children are known from Joseph
A. Herrin Bible Records), and 5) William.
!BIRTH: Marriage consent was given to Rachel Herrin and Morris Stogsdill by
Edward Herrin in 1834. Edward had no daughters named Rachel per the Edward
Herrin Bible. Rachel was then under 18 when she was married in 1834
(1834-17)=1817 or 1816 at the earliest depending on time of the year she was
born.
!MARRIAGE: Pulaski County Kentucky Marriage Book I Rachel Herrin married Morris
Stogsdill 1834 12-3 consent Thomas Stogsdill bondsman: Edward Herrin. (Certified
