  Listed in the Lawrence Co, IL 1860 census records as a physician. They are living two houses away from Christian Geines and her new husband Christian Schmidt (listed as John Smith.) It would appear that Christian's first name may have been Johannes, it was not unusual to name German males Johannes at that time, they would then go by their second name, which in this case was Christian.) David's granddaughter Ida May Burget would marry Henry's grandson, John Wesley Geines, in later years.
