  Edna died at age 42 in Los Angeles, California, following surgery for a brain tumor. Her death followed an illness of 3 mos. She had been employed as compositor for the Nashville Journal for a number of years - later lived in Oklahoma City and St. Louis before moving to Los Angeles where for 5 years she was Secretary for Edwards Brothers Mortuary.
