  In the Quitman County Courthouse, there is a marriage record between a Mr. J.R. Mullins and Annie Cunningham. A.T. Stapp signed the marriage liscence as a trustee in the matter. A.T. (Aaron Thomas) Stapp (whose wife was Susan Elizabeth Mullins) would have been a brother in law to J.R. Mullins. As of right now, it is believed that the K.J.R. Mullins, a brother to Susan found 1880 census of Yalobusha County, is the same as the above J.R. Mullins. QUITMAN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MINUTES BOOK I, page 371 Ordered that the petition of J.W. Koger asking for a public road be breviewed and layed...and that the following commissioners be appointed to review the same to wit: W.F. Ivy, F.M. Sandifer, J.R. Mullins, Jas. Stiffis, W.F.Walker, Hubbard Johnson, R. McNee.
