  From the files of Barbara Moore Deakins and Sandi Bennett. Gabriel and Francoise were killed in a wagon accident in 1818. He died immediately and she died a month later as a result of her injuries. Their daughter, Marie Constance was raised by Gabriel's brother Joseph Philibert I. the boys were placed at trades.
