  George Henry Schmidt, 74, Lebanon, died at 1:45 yesterday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Robert I. Hull in O'Fallon. He had been ill from a complication of diseases for the last seven years. Schmidt was born in Shakopee, Minn, Jan. 2, 1871, a son of the late Christian and Christina Geins Schmidt. He was never married. In addition to the sister at whose home he died Schmidt is survived by one brother, Christian, at Lebanon. Funeral rites will be held at Schwarz funeral home at O'Fallon Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with internment in College Hill Cemetery at Lebanon.
