  Research by Linda Mulkey: My grandmother said that her husband was Joseph, but the marriage license reads James. I found them in the 1880 census, Stone county Missouri: 122, Sheet 1, line 46. Mahaila was seen in Blythe, California, in 1928 by her nephew, Walter Owens, but that is the last heard of her. There is a photograph on p. 574 History of Stone County Missouri with the heading as follows: Three sisters (from left): Mahaila Coker, Mary Dosha Banks, and Drucilla Walker
