Aug. 17, 1760 - proved Aug. Court 1766 - Esaiah Phipps will to son Esaiah Phipps my plantation in Hamshire county, Virginia on south side of south Branch containing 249 acres adjoining Benja Forman and John Wilson, two horses; to my wife Ann Phipps, my plantation in Hamshire county, VA, containing 218 acres and also the plantation whereon I now live on both sides of Mill creek containing 200 acres that I bought of Andrew Hampton in Granville Co., NC and also all household goods, cattle, horses, hogs. Wts: Willm Berry, Thos Moore, John Fowler.
