Notes - 1. The house that he and his wife lived in still exsists today, it is a Summer residence.
2. He and his wife left Agger, Denmark because of flooding to their house...many of the people of Agger moved to Lyngby.
3. Niels came to America in/around 1932 at the age of 70 to visit his two sons, Søren and Christian, who lived in Chicago.
4. There is a story told about Niels that he and 2 other fishers were in a storm, the 2 others were scared to death...Niels told them that if God wanted to take him that there was nothing he could do, so he laid down in the middle of the boat and fell asleep.
