Jesse Reynolds married Betsy Burns (BARNES) 16 APR 1810.

!BIRTH: Rockcastle County, Ky 1850 Census Dwelling 238, Family 238. Shows
Jesse Reynolds as the head of household and 66 years old b. Tennessee.

!DEED: Sumner County Tennessee Deed Book Vol. 3, page 219 shows Jesse Reynolds
as a witness to the deed of 19 Nov 1801 between Frederick Snyder, Sullivan Co.
Tennessee, Jeremiah Rankin, Fayette Co., Kentucky and George Reed of Mercer Co.
Kentucky (land on the North side of the Cumberland River). This record was
witnessed by two Walkers and Caleb Reynolds, brother to Jesse married
second, Elizabeth Walker, daughter of John Walker.

JESSE married BARNES ELIZABETH on 16 Apr 1810 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. ELIZABETH (daughter of BARNES ELIJAH SR. and UNKNOWN ELIZABETH M.) was born in 1789 in Kentucky; died in Jan 1880 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. [Group Sheet]

has a consent note saying "my son Jesse Runnels" and signed by "Wilam Railos".
Tilman, on page 296 lists Jesse as the son of Nathaniel Reynolds, in error.

James, Wm. and Eliz. Reynolds were baptized in 1763 from the "Baptism of
White People", Records of the Old Parish Registers-Baptisms).
This had to be a different Reynolds family since Elizabeth Mossom Reynolds
was dead in 1754 per the stone at St. Peter's Parish Church.
