    !MILITARY: Nina Cash Family Data Sheet for Joseph Thompson, Sr.
    Joseph fought in the War of 1812. He enlisted 8-23-1813 at Mt. Vernon, Kentucky
    and discharged the same, 11-8-1813. His 2nd wife, Jemima, received 40 acres of
    Bounty Land for Joseph's military service. There was a Joseph Thompson who
    applied for a pension from Shelby County, KY, but he was 71 years old on Jan.
    4, 1834, consequently to old to be this same Joseph Thompson and too young to
    be his father.
