Thomas married SCHMIDT Rosa Mary on 12 Apr 1903 in Lebanon, IL. Rosa (daughter of SCHMIDT Johann Christian and GEINES Christina) was born on 25 Sep 1884 in Lebanon, IL; died in 1980 in Little Rock, Arkensas. [Group Sheet]

Notes:

The Kelly family is living in O'Fallon, St. Clair Co, IL in the 1870 census records. Patrick is there with his wife, it appears they must have come from England to IL about 6/1870 because their son Edward was born in May, 1870 in England but by the end of June they were living in IL. Mary lists herself as born in Ireland in the 1870 census records.

The Kelly family is on the 1880 census records for Collinsville, Madison Co, IL.

Thomas is living with his children, his wife has apparently died, most likely in childbirth with the youngest son in 2/1880. Thomas was born in Ireland as were his parents, his wife Mary was born in Ireland also, as were her parents. The firs tseveral children of Thomas and Mary were born in England suggesting that Thomas moved to England, and he and Mary decided to move to Il in 1870. Thomas is listed as a coal miner.

Patrick married CLARK Mary in ABT. 1860 in Probably England. Mary was born in 1844 in Ireland; died in 1880 in Collinsville, IL. [Group Sheet]
