    This indenture made & entered into this 10th day of November A D 1843 between John P. Jones of the county of Lafayette & state of Mississippi on the one part & Sally James wife of William James of the county & state aforesaid of this their part virtue path that the party of the first part for and in consideration of his desire to provide for the party of the second part a permanent house and for the purpose of securing this house against every casualty and in the further consideration of one dollar in hand paid the receipt whereof is acknowledged hath given granted bargained & conveyed and by these presents, doth given granted bargained & conveyed into the said Sally James wife as aforesaid for her natural life and at her death to the heirs of her body the following tract or parcel of land designated according to the public survey of the Chickasaw lands the South East quarter of section twenty seven in Township No Eight of Range Two West of the (can't read) containing by estimation 140 acres, more or
