    Living a few houses away is Jesse Ginn, father of Nancy Ginn (wife of Moses) and Ruffin Ginn who is the brother of Nancy. There are also some Harcrows living close by, this is the family of the wife of Jesse Ginn.

    There is also a John Bryan living close by, born between 1775-1794. It is not clear if this is a brother of Moses or possibly his father.

    It would seem that Nancy Dorsen had been married before she married Gilbert and the children listed as living with them include those from her first marriage. Perhaps Dorsen is not her maiden name then. Gilbert and his family are living next door to his sister Mary who had married Isaac Doyle.

    Jesse Ginn purchased 283 acres in Elbert County April 1, 1793. In 1820 census records he still had 2 sons living at home, one aged 16-18 and one 16-26. Ruffin and Isaac Ginn were both listed on the 1820 census of Elbert County as married and age 26-45.
