    "Levy's tombstone reads, "Grandpa Levy Hicks, Gone but not Forgotten". Notes written by Dell a Thompson Wade read: " Grandpa and Grandma were both baptized in 1890." There are some co nflicting dates for some of their children's birth dates, as well as the marriage date. Birt h dates shown have been taken from tombstones, and are not consistent with family history re cords in the possession of Homer Thompson. The marriage was recorded from the DeKalb Count y Marriage Records. In the "Volume II Index to Marriages 1836-1916, DeKalb County, Alabama , H-O, "Levy" is listed as "Anderson LeViah Hicks", and Frances is listed as "Fanny Roden".
