88 lists John Heron 74 years old; occupation chairmaker. It shows his father
is from North Carolina and his mother from Tennessee.

!NOTE: John Clark was the husband of Nancy Herrin; this would make John Clark
the uncle of John Herrin since William is the son of Shadrack, Nancy
is the daughter of Shadrack and John is the son of William.

When Rebecah Herrin married Singleton Earp, the bond was signed by John
Herrin, and the marriage was consented to by William Herrin, one more fact
linking John as William's son. The signature of William Herrin on the marriage
consent matched William Herrin's signature on his own marriage bond to Sally
Evans.

It is history that Shopville, KY was named after a blacksmith shop there
(Pulaski County In Retrospect). It is likely that since John Herrin lived in
Shopville, that it was named because of his shop, since he is a wheelwright.
(or his father, William's, shop).

ELIZABETH (daughter of JACKSON JOSEPH and MONTGOMERY MILLY) was born on 6 Oct 1913 in Shopville, Pulaski County, Kentucky; died in in Pulaski County, Kentucky; was buried in Shopville, Pulaski County, Kentucky.
