    LINDA TUBBS
    Linda H. Tubbs, 98, of Nashville, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2003 at Friendshp Manor Healthcare Center in Nashville.
    Born in Advance, Missouri, on August 20, 1904, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Clara (Sparfield) Bock. She was united in marriage to L. Floyd Tubbs on April 3, 1932 at Advance, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1998.
    Survivors include a son, Leland F. Tubbs, Jr. and wife Lavera of Mascoutah; two daughers, Marjorie Shubert and husband Glynn of Watson and Marilyn Hemminghaus and husband Louis of Nashville; a sister, Viola Weisenborn of Columbia; 12 grandchldren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Otto Bock, and four sisters, Frieda Moore, Anna Moore, Lydia Brink, and Ida Nothdurft.
    Mrs. Tubbs was a member of the North Prairie Church for many years. After its closing, she and her husband transferred to the Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville. Linda was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 805 of Nashville and Washington County, and the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed working on the family farm, gardening and raising flowers.
    Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville Wesnesday, January 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Herath officiating.
    Interment will be in North Prairie Cemetery in rural Nashville.
    Should friends desisre, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church or the Order of the Eastern Star and will be received by the Campagna Funeral Home.
