  1. 1.  STRASSER Johan Nicholas was born in 1713 in Germany (son of STRASSER Peter and MAGDALENA Maria); died in 1790 in Albany Twp, Berks Co, PA.

    Notes:

    Johann Nikolaus Strasser arrived in PA about 1721. On 19 September 1738, he received a land warrent in what is now Albany Township, Berks County (then Philadelphia County). At his death in 1790, he left three sons, five daughters, and offspring by two daughters who had predeceased him. About 1805, two sons and two daughters joined a heavy migration from Berks and adjacent counties to the Salt Creek Valley of Ohio. Among the migrant siblings were Eva Barbara Strasser who was born in 1752 in Berks County and married to Johann Jakob Stumpf, she died in 1836 in Hocking county, Ohio.

    Johan married ELIZABETH Maria. Maria was born on 12 Mar 1720/21 in Albany Twp, Berks Co, PA; died on 20 Mar 1773 in Albany Twp, Berks Co, PA. [Group Sheet]

    Children:
    1. STRASSER Eva Barbara was born on 27 Dec 1753 in Berks Co, PA; died on 24 Nov 1836 in Laurel Twp, Hocking Co, Ohio; was buried in Stumpf Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp, Pickaway Co., Ohio.
