2. STELZRIEDE FREDERICH CHRISTIAN was born on 27 Mar 1849 in Minden, Prussen, Deutschland; died on 13 Jan 1902 in Near Beaucoup (dod Jan. 12 or 13, 1902 per cemetery stone); was buried in North Prairie Cemetery, Washington County, Illinois. Notes:
Fred Stelzriede, aged 55 years, died of pneumonia Monday evening at his home a few miles south of Hoyleton. Deceased was born in Minden, Prussen, Germany, and in 1867 immigrated to this country, settling near this place. In 1875 he was married to Louisa Krueger of which union four children were born. Shortly afterward Mrs. Stelzriede died. He was married in 1888 to Mary Krietemeeyer and four children were born. The remains will be interred in the North Prairie Cemetery Thursday morning, Rev. Miller officiating. He leaves to mourn his death, a loving wife, three sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends. He was a kind and indulgent father and the writer extends sincere sympathy to the mother and children for their untimely bereavement.

3. KRUEGER CHRISTINE LOUISA was born on 30 Jun 1858 (daughter of KRUEGER C. HEINRICH and BAKHAUS CHRISTINE (CHRISTINA) CHARLOTTE (BACKHAUS)); died on 26 Oct 1887 in Dod per cemetery stone Oct 24, 1887; was buried in North Prairie Cemetery, Washington County, Illinois. Notes:
Was buried in the N. P. M. E. Church Cemetery, October 29, 1887, wife of Fr. Steizniede, living near Beaucoup, daughter of Hy. and Charlotte Krueger, formerly living 2 miles southeast of Hoyleton now residing in Clinton County. Her age was 29 years, 3 months and 24 days and died October 25, 1887. Sudden aned unexpected came her death, being a severe death to the husband, 4 small children, brothers, sisters, and many friends. Our sincere sympathies are extended to them in their present affliction. Rev. Geo. Buehner of the German M. E. Church of Nashville, assisted Rev. Mahle in burial service.

Last week Henry Krueger, a former resident of this county, was buried here. He was quite an old man and was well known here. The last few years he has lived in Clinton Co. where he died. (Don't know date of this occurrence.)

BAKHAUS CHRISTINE (CHRISTINA) CHARLOTTE (BACKHAUS) was born on 20 Oct 1827 in KirchSpiel, Lintdorf, Westfalen, Germany; came to USA in teens in 1845 (maybe 1835), married here (daughter of BACKHAUS Johann Heinrich and ESMANN Marqarethe Dorothea Marie); died on 21 Nov 1914 in Hoyleton, IL; was buried in North Prairie Cemetery, Washington County, Illinois. Notes:
Mrs. Charlottte Krueger died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Casper Finke, in North Prairie at the age of 87 years. Deceased was born in 1827 in Germany and in 1835 emigrated to this country. In 1848 she was married to Henry Krueger, who preceded her in death in 1889. She leaves three children, Mrs. Casper Finke, Mrs. Mike Schmidt and a son, John, of Texas, 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the German M. E. Church in North Prairie, Rev. Lotz officiating, assisted by Rev. Miller. Interment was made in the adjacent cemetery.
She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church.Children:
