Notes:

Although Emma was a shut-in most of her life, being very frail and having a loss of hearing, she lived to be 90 and was always interested in family and friends. Her father, August Steffen was one of the organizers of St. Paul's Ev. Church in Nashville. At the time of her death, she was the only remaining daughter of a charter member and oldest member of the church and the Women's Guild.

EMMA married HOHMAN JOHN ALBERT on 7 Oct 1891. JOHN (son of HOHMAN ERNST HENRY FREDERICK and HOFFMAN CAROLINE WILHEMINE) was born in 1867; died in Mar 1925. [Group Sheet]
