    • HOYLETON - Arthur G. Hake, 93, of Hoyleton died at 1:40 p.m. Friday, Nove.29, 1996, at Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Nashville.
      He was born March 8, 1903, in Hoyleton, son of George and Lydia (Peithman) Hake, and they preceded him in death. He married Sophia C. (Wellpot) Hake on June 16, 1928, at Hoyleton, and she survives.
      Other survivors include a daughter, June Arians, and husband, Mike, of Elgin; a sister, Eunice Young of St. Louis: a daughter in-law, Jean Hake Schnake of Irvington; two grandchildren, Mark Hake, and wife, Cassandra, of Hoyleton, and Beth Hake of Centralia; one great-grandson, Lucas Hake; nieces; nephews; other relation and friends.
      He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Hake; a great-grandson, Mark Charles Hake; and three sisters, Edna Bengteson, Gladys Brown and Gertrude Fark.
      Mr. Hake was a retired farmer and was a member of the Hoyleton Methodist Church for many years. He was a member of the Hoyleton Lions Club.
      Services are 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Loretta Cummins officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Evangelical Cemetery of Hoyleton.
      Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today and until time of the service on Monday at the Campagna Funeral Home.
